ASNT NDE Level I&II&III in RT
INTRODUCTION
This course presents information on the NDT method of radiographic inspection or radiography. Radiography uses penetrating radiation that is directed towards a component.
The component stops some of the radiation. The amount that is stopped or absorbed is affected by material density
and thickness differences. These differences in “absorption” can be recorded on film, or electronically.
OBJECTIVES
This 5 days course reviews the Fundamentals of Radiographic Testing, addressing Radiographic Testing procedure qualification and development, concentrating on Radiographic Testing Technique development as applied to the Power Plants, construction and materials fabrication Industries. The main focus is on how the major Radiographic testing Parameters affect each other.
